I would like to send a huge THANK YOU to the person that have supported me on my hair journey the most! from the time I was thinking about making the decision to the time I let my roommate go crazy with the scissors, you have been there and continue to be there. You have seen me completely hate my choice of cutting my hair to me being in strong liking of my hair. As they say you are the real MVP lol. I honestly can't say thank you enough for the support you have given me thus far, if it wasn't for your help and support I honestly would have been lost with my journey and my Senior Sem. would have been a different topic. Know that I support you as well in all that you do. I am also thankful to have you in my life, you are a true blessing from above!
What your favorite products and why?
The real question is what are my manes favorite products and why lol. My mane and I have a relationship that is complicated. What I like and what it like are some what different but also the same. I like the cantu Shea butter leave-in-conditioner and another leave in conditioner will list that once I remember what it is. These are my favorite because they make my hair extra soft and easy to comb through, but they don't keep my hair moisturized as I would like. My manes favorite products are grease and water though my favorite products help with styles like two strand twist and the flat twist my mane just eat it like no other. I often refer to my mane as a male because it doesn't listen to what I want or do what I want lol but we are making it. There are a few reason as to why I returned to my natural mane:
1. I was not big on getting my hair done as a child unless it was braids or putting it into a ponytail. 2. I was a college student and did not trust anyone to put a relaxer in my hair and again I was not big on getting my hair done. 3. I really wanted to see what my natural mane looked like since I really didn't get to as a child. my mom kept it in braids, hot combed it or it was in pigtails. 4. Lastly, I wanted to challenge myself and accomplish a goal that I had and that was to regain length.
